My dad died and we have 2 old Corvairs to sell in Black Canyon City, AZ.  They need lots of work.  No rust but oxidation.  Good project or parts car.  One is 1961 coupe and the other is a 1964 Spyder.  $800 for the Spyder and $500 for the '61 coup or offer.  Can call my brother, Dean, at 623-374-9479 to talk about them or see them.

1966 500 Coupe. 4-speed. 33,576 original miles. Fully restored in late 2004. Everything works on this car including the radio, blinkers , lights, windshield wipers, heater fan and horn. The car looks and drives great! Repainted in its original Madeira Maroon color. Paint and body work included exterior and interior door jams, trunk and hood jams. There is a small paint chip on drivers door (see picture). INTERIOR: reupholstered in red vinyl along with new rear seat belts. All weather stripping including door jams, trunk, engine compartment, window felt, inside and outside rubber bump stops have been replaced. Replaced all heater hoses and clamps. Replaced  gas lines and hoses, cleaned out gas tank. Replaced heater box and interior gaskets. Replaced all U joints on drive axles.  All new decals, new antenna and front windshield. REAR SUSPENSION: sand blasted and powder coated all rear suspension parts. Replaced all control arm bushings, strut rod bushings, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar bushings, bolts, nuts, rear shocks and coil spring rubbers. FRONT SUSPENSION: Sand blasted and powder coated all non replaceable components including sub frame. Replaced upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, front swaybar bushing, link pins, inner and outer tie rod ends, idler, and pitman arms, and front shocks. BRAKES: All 4 backing plates were removed, sandblasted and powder coated. Replaced all 4 wheel cylinders, along with brakes, all hardware and springs, resurfaced all 4 drums. Replaced inner and outer wheel bearings and seals, all rubber brake hoses both front and rear replaced along with all steel brake lines front and rear. Fresh spare tire. This was the 73,194th Corvair built at Willow Run, Michigan that year. There were 24,045 Corvair 500 Coupes made that year. VIN: 101376W173194. Car is located in Phoenix.
