On Saturday, April 22, 2006, The Tucson Corvair Association and the Cactus Corvair Club of Phoenix held their annual joint get-together. This year the Boyce Thomson Arboretum, a state park near Superior, Arizona, was the gathering spot for the two clubs. The picnic was delightful and, even though there we only a few in attendance, a fun time was had by all. Enjoy a few of the pictures below. Just click on the thumbnail to see the enlarged version. | Only about 15 people were there in all. The Cactus Club had a nice showing of two Corvairs and a new Mustang GT convertible. The Tucson club had three 'Vairs and one little tiny station wagon that carried the food and drink. | A group from the Unofficial Corvette Club (UOCC) from the Valley was having an outing at the Arboretum and came over for a little chat and took some pictures of our cars.
